Kristen Sneed is a writer, illustrator, and photographer studying creative writing at the University of Arkansas, where she is supported by the Walton Foundation, among other fellowships. Her poetry has been published in The Tightwires Anthology, where she was a finalist for The Tightwires Anthology Prize, judged by Hanif Abdurraquib. Her early work appears in Iowa City literary magazines like Earthwords, Catharsis, InkLit, Snapshots, and Cave Writing. In 2025, Kristen won the Midwest Writing Center's Iron Pen contest in poetry. Lately, she lives in Northwest Arkansas with her cat, Steve.
